Dear Comrades,
We, the Indian
Trotskyists working in Calcutta, were seriously worried to learn
about the illness of Comrade Bill Brust through the Bulletin of May
19, 1991, and we earnestly hope that our beloved comrade will come
around very soon to carry on his glorious revolutionary activities of
giving leadership to the Fourth International.
We are deeply
inspired by your invaluable contribution to the world Trotskyist
movement, of you both, Comrades Bill and Jean. We read the Bulletin
report on the tribute paid at the YS conference to your lifelong
contribution, just as we taking the first steps of forming a branch
of the SLL here, and it reminded us how much your contribution lives
within the successes and the growth of the ICFI. We shall, as members
of the Socialist Labour League of India, carry forward this work
under the banner of the ICFI, along with all other comrades of the
Workers League and all comrades throughout the world.
Wishing
you a quick recovery, Comrade Bill, and extending our solidarity in
the moment of your anxiety and strain, Comrade Jean.
With revolutionary greetings.
Yours fraternally,
